AnalystEye does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

📦 What Data Is Stored

AnalystEye stores only the following data locally in your browser:

• Custom labels — IP addresses and CIDR subnets you label
• Descriptions — Optional notes you add to labels
• Preferences — Theme selection, highlight styles, and scan settings
• Site filters — Allowlist and blocklist settings

No browsing history, page content, or personal information is ever stored.

💾 Local Storage

AnalystEye uses chrome.storage.local to store your settings and custom labels locally in your browser. This is the only data that is stored, and it never leaves your device.

🗑️ Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally in your browser, you can delete it at any time:

• Delete individual labels — Via the Labels tab in the dashboard
• Clear all data — Via the Storage tab → "Clear all data" button
• Uninstall the extension — Removes all data automatically

🌐 External Services

AnalystEye provides links to external security services (AbuseIPDB, VirusTotal, Shodan, etc.) for your convenience. When you click these links:

• You are redirected to their websites
• Their privacy policies apply
• AnalystEye does not send any data to these services automatically

🔑 Permissions Used

• storage — Saves your preferences and labels locally
• downloads — Exports your labels as a backup file
• host_permissions (<all_urls>) — Scans all web pages for IP addresses
